Julio del Álamo is a highly successful and prestigious director and has been one of the most important and influential figures in Spanish television advertising over the past two decades. He is responsible for many of the most outstanding advertising campaigns, which have received numerous awards at major international festivals such as Cannes Lions, San Sebastián, FIAP, New York Festivals, among others.

Julio has been awarded Best Advertising Director on two occasions in Spain and Latin America.

In 1995, he founded his own production company, Alamofilms Productions Company, which became a benchmark in the Spanish and European advertising film industry until 2016. During this period, the company ranked as the fourteenth production company worldwide and received awards at leading international festivals including Cannes Lions, San Sebastián, FIAP, New York Festivals, EPICA, and Eurobest.

With nearly 450 commercials directed, Julio’s extensive experience is fundamental to the confidence he brings to each project and guarantees the satisfaction of his clients. His unmistakable talent for directing actors makes his films stand out, while his deep knowledge of editing allows him to maximize the creative potential of his productions. From the very beginning of each project, he clearly understands the narrative discourse he intends to construct and how to execute it with precision.

He currently works as a freelance director, producing commercials and personal projects. Since the emergence of artificial intelligence, he has become an expert in its application, integrating AI into his creative process and producing AI-generated works that have received international recognition and awards.
